Cows ARE Cool
I couldn't agree more. They have beautiful eyes and, given the chance, are very protective with their calves. I'm guessing, because you like cows (and other animals) so much, you must be VEGAN - good for you, afterall what right do humans have to rob the milk from a cow when it is produced by her for her baby calf.

Again, your photographs capture nature in its most beautiful, raw form. We all love leather shoes and car interiors, but it would be wonderful if all cattle could live as your "models" are pictured. They also deserve humane treatments in the last minutes of their lives.

i belkieve that some people take animals to be anything as long as they get a munch!! cows are as ever like humans as they have babies and want to care for their young just as human beings with their babies!! so treat cows with respect and we will all feel happy in the environment

I Love Cows!

I have loved cows since i was born!

Cows are cows, and cool...
If it weren't for people, cattle would be happy in the wild, but now the fact that cattle are profitable for people to farm is the only thing standing between bovine and oblivion. A good farmer LOVES his cattle and does not rest himself unless they are taken care of. Look at factory farming and 25000 head feedlots for a real source of oblivious cruelty.

Cows R cute...and beautiful, and moosical, and freakin' awesome... BUT
I know, I love them, but they are indeed good food, and for all the starving people out there. Some will indeed need to be sacrificed. In the wild, if we let the cow population keep on growing and growing and GROWING, then some cows would become verysickly and die, because there is not enough food for all of the cows on Earth. Some babies would be born sickly from the mothers not getting enough food, and then not producing enough milk to sustain the baby! So, in some ways, slaughtering cows is a semi-good thing. I DEFINITELY do not agree with all the obese people in America eating McDonalds hamburgers, and getting so obese they can no longer walk. I just would like the cows to die for a REAL cause, like people in foreign countries dying from starvation, then cows can be milked to produce drink, and some slaughtered, for the food some of these people definitely need.

Why I love cows?
Why I love cows? Well, I rent a piece of land opposite a meadow where
the farmer has two cows. Each year (regrettably) the eldest is
destined for meat... In the meantime (mean time for the animals), I
try to make their limited lifespan as comfortable as possible by
offering them carrots. This has been going on for many years and I'm
still surprised by the difference in personality structure these
animals have: cuddly ones, downright naughty ones, playful or
indifferent ones .. a vast variety of character traits that one also
finds in humans.
Well, to answer the question why I love them ... they are all
individuals and to talk to them, and stare into the deepness of their
beautiful eyes gives me a feeling of connection to an animal world
that is much closer to us than most people imagine!

i love all animals but cows are the best the are so neat an gentle and their huge eyes i gave up eating meat after my parents sent my cow to the works this year i worked on a dairy farm so cruel but i didnt let any calves go on the bobby truck i got homes for them all.

Cows are such gentle natured, and each have different personalities. They are very genuine and so kind. Us humans should learn from them!!!!
I hate (and do not understand) how the insult 'you're a cow' came about, as these creatures are anything BUT humans at their worst (p****d off.) lol this is me saying what I think about cows. I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!! tehe and very nice picz btw, well done to all of you for expressing opinions on these animals. They need to be recognised as more than meat. :)

Stop cruelty to animals
Animals too have a right to live.....just like we do. They were created just like we were. Why ppl kill for food? Being frm India I believe a lot in Karma....I'm sure ppl who treat animals with cruelty are going to be reborn as animals, with the same cruelty metted out to them. An animal, unless fierce and junglee, would never kill humans for food. They always reciprocate the love and kindness we shower them with. But look at what we humans do to them, inspite of being knowledgable and aware. May God enlighten such ppl.

Funny and Smart Cows
We have three beef cows... Brisket, Burger, and T-bone. Our cows are as gentle as puppy dogs. Burger is a really smart cow and knows how to open the bag of pellets. He also knows how to pick up a bucket by the handle!!!

I'm going to tell you why people should stop harming cows.So let's get started.
I think people should stop harming cows because eating a cow would be like eating you,stealing a cows milk would be like stealing all the food you have,and wearing a cows fur would be like wearing you.I hope my message has changed your wat about cows. How they are NOT apart of the food group/chain.

Why do these "cows" have horns? I know there are types of bovines that both sexes have horns, but otherwise any bovine that has horns is a bull...not a cow.

Hello! I Love cows too, I live in a Finnish cattle farm, we have altogether about 50 cows and calfs. The breeds are ayshire and holstein-friesan.
And who said all the cows look the same? I remember our every cow's name :) All cows have their own personality - someone is small, someone is big, someone is very friendly, someone is a bit careful, someone likes patting their head, someone likes grooming... But they all are so lovely - I can't get enough of watching their big, friendly eyes or when they are eating the grass outside.
