Moo!About

When I am not being stared at by a mountain cow, I make a living either sitting in front of a computer myself, or talking with people who do.

A few years ago I finished my computer science studies at the TU Munich. During the good ol' days I was occupied with expanding a theorem prover named Isabelle, writing compiler tools for newly developed programming languages, and localizing educational software for the German market. Nowadays I use SQL, Tcl and Java to build database-backed Web applications at Red Hat. Besides that, I tend my collection of homegrown software, like LetMeType.

Among the things I enjoy more than telling a machine how to get a task done are travelling, taking pictures, books, music and aviation.

If you want to leave some virtual graffiti, you can sign my visitors' book, or use one of the many "Add a comment" links you'll find throughout the site. And if you are lost, the site map, local search, or the What's New? page may be what you are looking for.
